THE BOLTON
Figured Black Walnut · End Grain
$200
The Bolton brings the character and craftsmanship of our larger end-grain boards into a more compact footprint. Made from richly figured Black Walnut, its intricate pattern reveals new movement and detail from every angle. Thick, durable and gentle on knife edges, it's designed to become the everyday workhorse of a smaller kitchen.

THE STORY
The Bolton carries the same remarkable character of figured Black Walnut as its larger counterpart, but in a more intimate scale. Across its surface, shifting ribbons of chocolate, amber and deep brown reveal the natural movement of the wood, creating a pattern that could never be precisely repeated.
Its end-grain construction is both a celebration of the material and a deliberate choice in function. Each block is individually arranged to reveal the figure within the walnut while creating a resilient, knife-friendly cutting surface. At 13½" × 10¾", its compact proportions make it particularly well suited to the rhythm of everyday preparation.
The Bolton is proof that an heirloom need not be imposing. It is designed to earn its place in the kitchen through daily use—developing character with every meal and becoming more personal with time.
