THE STORY

The Forge is defined by contrast. Deep Black Walnut meets the warm, golden character of Honey Locust in an interlocking composition that transforms two distinctly different hardwoods into a single, cohesive surface. The resulting pattern is architectural and bold, yet unmistakably natural.

Its substantial 1⅝" profile and end-grain construction give The Forge a physical presence that reflects its purpose. Each individual block is positioned by hand, balancing colour, grain and proportion while creating a durable cutting surface designed for regular use.

The Forge celebrates the idea that craftsmanship can be both expressive and practical. It is a working kitchen tool with the character of an object meant to remain on display—built not simply to withstand use, but to tell the story of it.
