The Gallery was designed to make presentation part of the experience. Sculpted from a single slab of Black Walnut, its long serving surface and graceful integrated handle create a natural canvas for food, while uninterrupted grain runs the length of the piece. Elegant in proportion and intentionally simple, it allows both the wood and what is placed upon it to take centre stage.

THE STORY

The Gallery begins with a simple idea: food prepared with care deserves to be presented with the same intention. Crafted from a single slab of Black Walnut, uninterrupted grain travels the length of the board before continuing into its elongated sculpted handle, creating a composition that feels both graceful and architectural.

Its narrow proportions were deliberately designed around presentation. The generous length provides room to compose cheeses, charcuterie, artisan breads and small bites, while the restrained silhouette creates a natural frame around what is being served. Like a gallery wall, the board is designed to complement what it holds rather than compete for attention.

The Gallery reflects the belief that gathering begins before the first bite is taken. It is about the anticipation of bringing something beautiful to the table, sharing it with others, and turning the simple act of serving food into part of the experience.
