THE HARVEST
Single-Slab Black Walnut · Face Grain
$110
The Harvest embraces the simplicity of a single piece of Black Walnut. Flowing grain, natural colour variation and distinctive knots have been preserved rather than hidden, allowing the history of the tree to become part of the design. THE STORY
The Harvest begins with a single slab of Black Walnut. Its uninterrupted grain, natural colour variation and distinctive knots have been preserved rather than divided into a pattern, allowing the history of one piece of wood to define the entire composition.
The traditional handle is sculpted directly from the slab, creating a continuous form rather than an added element. At nearly 25" long, The Harvest provides generous space for bread, cheeses and charcuterie while maintaining the simplicity and familiarity of the classic serving-board silhouette.
The Harvest is rooted in the ritual of sharing food. It is designed to move naturally from kitchen to table, accumulating the subtle marks of gatherings and celebrations over time. Its beauty lies not in perfection, but in the character of the material and the life that continues around it.
