The Riverbend takes its identity from movement. Sweeping natural edges frame dramatic grain that flows through the slab before gathering around a remarkable figured section near its centre. Solid brass handles provide an elegant contrast while discreet black feet allow the walnut and brass to remain the visual focus.

THE STORY
The Riverbend is defined by movement. Sweeping live edges frame a single slab of Black Walnut whose grain travels through the piece before gathering around knots, figure and natural irregularities that record the tree's growth in extraordinary detail.
Solid brass handles provide structure without competing with that movement, while discreet black feet disappear beneath the board so that the relationship between walnut and brass remains uninterrupted. Every design decision is deliberately secondary to the slab itself.
The Riverbend represents the most individual expression of Rose Studio's philosophy: begin with remarkable material, understand what makes it unique and intervene only where craftsmanship can reveal more of its character. Created for gathering and presentation, it is functional art intended to be used rather than simply observed.
